Tea for Two
“Tea for Two” by Hannah Kristine
18 x 24 original oil painting

This painting was inspired by my lovely Mom. Tea time together was a very special memory we shared through the years.
The monarch butterfly on the tea cup symbolizes beauty and transformation- a symbol enduring love, and a connection to loved ones who have crossed beyond the veil of this world.
The cardinal bird perched in the window is a symbol of our passed-on loved ones still present with us in spirit . Some believe seeing a cardinal, especially near someone who has lost a loved one, can be a sign that their spirit is watching over them.
Lastly the flowers are known as “Forget Me Not”. Forget-me-nots symbolize love, remembrance, long-lasting connections and an unbreakable bonds of love that transcend time itself.
