“In the Clouds” is a painting series I have started, focusing on what the world looks like below the face. I have a particular love of faces- their intricate structures and delicate features that make a person unique. However, I have become aware of how much I focus on a face, and neglect to appreciate the other diverse interactions to be explored throughout the scene! “In the Clouds” is my attempt to do just that- explore the body language, and appreciate the surroundings of a scene more independently.
